The Security Duty Manager role reports directly to the Security Operations Manager and offers an extraordinary opportunity to establish overall property control, safety & security whilst providing leadership, motivation, advice and direction for all employees to meet the departmental objectives. This is a fantastic opportunity where you can put your skills and knowledge to the test to deliver a thrilling new era for Security.

A few of your responsibilities:

  • Implement measures to enhance asset protection and reduce incidents of theft, assault, vandalism, disorderly conduct, and other illegal activities within The Star complex
  • Manage and develop daily operations to achieve departmental objectives while adhering to statutory requirements, organisational policies, and procedures
  • Manage staff, including conducting performance evaluations, training and development, and ensuring appropriate staffing levels
  • Identify operational training needs and implement training programs to align with departmental objectives and best practices
  • Support security management by providing operational leadership and ensuring customer service and operational requirements are met

What we are looking for:

  • Current NSW Security Industry Licence. Subclass 1A
  • Current RSA and RCG
  • Current Senior First Aid Certificate.
  • Advanced Conflict Resolution and Incident Management.
  • Demonstrated ability in planning and resourcing people, performance management and controlling labour costs and operating expenses.
  • Demonstrated ability in developing productive relationships and managing and driving change.

You will have a strong background in Security with hands-on problem-solving skills and the ability to motivate team members and engage with stakeholders at all levels. You will take pride in upholding the safety and wellbeing of all customers and team members and meeting all requirements.
