The Star Brisbane offers a variety of new dining, bars, and unique entertainment options. It also includes a five-star luxury hotel, The Star Grand, and a state-of-the-art Event Centre. This transformational project has brought even more excitement and anticipation to burgeoning Brisbane. It will redefine how people play, shop, and socialise in the river city.
We are now seeking expressions of interest for casual Uniform Room Attendants looking to be part of the inaugural team.
The Uniform Room Attendant, reporting to the Wardrobe Manager, plays an essential role in fitting and issuing uniforms to team members to ensure high presentation standards are met.
A few of your responsibilities
- Assist and support the Wardrobe Manager with the operations to ensure the Wardrobe department goals are achieved
- Handle team member queries
- Knowledge of the garment management inventory system (GIMS) and barcode machine used to control uniforms
- Adhere to the Wardrobe policy and procedures in the issuing and control of the uniforms.
What we are looking for
- Experience in Wardrobe and Housekeeping function
- Knowledge in laundry and different kinds of fabric
- Ability to work in a team environment
About you
The successful candidates will promote a positive team environment, through their excellent service and courteous attitude. You will determine the team member’s uniform needs and ensure the quality and cleanliness is always maintained, while also building relationships with team members each day.
